Dior has made an appearance at almost every Catching Fire premiere so far. Jennifer Lawrence has looked absolutely impeccable in Dior dresses as she premiered the new movie all around the world. Lawrence is the new face of Dior, so we weren’t surprised when she appeared in a different gown by the infamous fashion house each night. I wasn’t a huge fan of her new pixie cut but I must admit she looks pretty stunning in all of these pics.
There is no debating the most powerful television character in the fashion industry is none other than the enviable Carrie Bradshaw. So while Sex and the City can only be re-lived in re-runs, we are so grateful to be able to continue to fawn over Carrie through the genius styling of Eric Daman (also beloved for his work on Gossip Girl) in The Carrie Diaries. AnnaSophia Robb kills it as a young CB, carrying a bright herringbone handmade clutch from Kayu in last week’s episode while Maggie, Bradshaw’s best friend, played by Katie Findlay, channels her inner bohemian in a stunning trio bracelet by Kanupriya. Stay tuned for more coveted looks each week on one of our new favorite stylish shows.
It’s official! After months of speculation and stressing about what will happen to Louis Vuitton after the end of Marc Jacobs’ tenure, Nicolas Ghesquiere has officially taken his position as Artistic Director of the iconic fashion house. Despite his bitter departure from Balenciaga, his time there was said to be incredibly successful for the brand (obviously, hes amazing). Rumor has it he’s bringing his former Balenciaga assistant Natacha Ramsay over to Louis Vuitton with him. Huge personal fans of the cutting-edge designer, we cannot wait to see what he’s going to do for Louis Vuitton. This could mean big changes for the almost 160 year old brand as they continue to find new ways to maintain their classic style while growing with the ever-changing contemporary fashion trends. Officially counting the days to the Spring14 Paris Fashion Week debut!
Absolutely obsessed describes how I feel about Alice and Olivia’s two item holiday collection for Starbucks. She’s calling her collection unBEARably chic (and we can obviously see why). Consisting of her signature black and white stripes and tutu – the Double Wall Ceramic ‘Tutu’ Tumbler and ‘Bearista’ Bear (seen above) will be available at StarbucksStore.com starting Nov. 1st and in stores Nov. 12th. We’re predicting that it will sell out incredibly fast. What a great holiday gift idea for all your unBEARably chic friends!
